Build, upgrade and ship React Native apps with Expo and EAS. OHarness works with Expo out of the box — sign in once in your browser and its tools are in every session.
Cette page est rédigée en anglais. Les termes qu'elle explique sont ceux que l'on cherche en anglais, et un terme technique traduit est un terme différent.
What you get
| MCP connector | EAS builds, submissions and Expo docs. Remote, over streamable HTTP at https://mcp.expo.dev/mcp. |
| Plugin | 25 skills, 1 MCP server and hooks. MCP servers: expo. |
| Published by | Expo |
| Pinned source | expo/skills@d4f4840 |
How it signs in
Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Expo’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.
Try it
Once Expo is connected, a first prompt to see it work:
Check my latest Expo deployment, read the build logs, and tell me why it failed.
Adding it
- Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
- In the composer, open the + menu and find Expo under Connectors or Plugins.
- Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions
Does OHarness work with Expo?
Yes. Expo ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.
How does the Expo connector sign in?
Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Expo's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.
What does the Expo plugin install?
25 skills, 1 MCP server and hooks. It is installed from expo/skills at commit d4f4840, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.
Is OHarness affiliated with Expo?
No. OHarness works with Expo through its public MCP server; Expo and its logo belong to Expo.

Expo and its logo belong to Expo. Listed because OHarness works with it, not because Expo endorses OHarness.
