Netlify with OHarness
- Conector
- Plugin
- Build e deploy
Deploy sites and functions on Netlify, with guidance for forms, edge functions and config. OHarness works with Netlify out of the box — sign in once in your browser and its tools are in every session.

What you get
| MCP connector | Deploy sites, manage projects and read build logs. Remote, over streamable HTTP at https://netlify-mcp.netlify.app/mcp. |
| Plugin | 16 skills and 1 MCP server. MCP servers: netlify. |
| Published by | Netlify |
| Pinned source | netlify/context-and-tools@dc9ebf1 |
How it signs in
Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Netlify’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.
Try it
Once Netlify is connected, a first prompt to see it work:
Check my latest Netlify deployment, read the build logs, and tell me why it failed.
Adding it
- Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
- In the composer, open the + menu and find Netlify under Connectors or Plugins.
- Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions
Does OHarness work with Netlify?
Yes. Netlify ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.
How does the Netlify connector sign in?
Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Netlify's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.
What does the Netlify plugin install?
16 skills and 1 MCP server. It is installed from netlify/context-and-tools at commit dc9ebf1, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.
Is OHarness affiliated with Netlify?
No. OHarness works with Netlify through its public MCP server; Netlify and its logo belong to Netlify.
