How it signs in

Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Airtable’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.

Try it

Once Airtable is connected, a first prompt to see it work:

Using Airtable, list the tables in my project and draft a query for last week's new sign-ups.

Adding it

  1. Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
  2. In the composer, open the + menu and find Airtable under Connectors or Plugins.
  3. Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions

Does OHarness work with Airtable?

Yes. Airtable ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.

How does the Airtable connector sign in?

Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Airtable's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.

What does the Airtable plugin install?

8 skills and 1 MCP server. It is installed from Airtable/skills at commit 812ee67, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.

Is OHarness affiliated with Airtable?

No. OHarness works with Airtable through its public MCP server; Airtable and its logo belong to Airtable.
