What you get
| MCP connector | Query and edit content in your Sanity projects. Remote, over streamable HTTP at https://mcp.sanity.io. |
| Plugin | 8 skills and 1 MCP server. MCP servers: Sanity. |
| Published by | Sanity |
| Pinned source | sanity-io/agent-toolkit@88d6cdf |
How it signs in
Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Sanity’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.
Try it
Once Sanity is connected, a first prompt to see it work:
Check my latest Sanity deployment, read the build logs, and tell me why it failed.
Adding it
- Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
- In the composer, open the + menu and find Sanity under Connectors or Plugins.
- Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions
Does OHarness work with Sanity?
Yes. Sanity ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.
How does the Sanity connector sign in?
Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Sanity's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.
What does the Sanity plugin install?
8 skills and 1 MCP server. It is installed from sanity-io/agent-toolkit at commit 88d6cdf, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.
Is OHarness affiliated with Sanity?
No. OHarness works with Sanity through its public MCP server; Sanity and its logo belong to Sanity.

Sanity and its logo belong to Sanity. Listed because OHarness works with it, not because Sanity endorses OHarness.
Use Sanity from OHarness
The same Sanity tools in every session, whichever of the model providers is underneath.
