Postgres, auth, storage and edge functions on Supabase, done the recommended way. OHarness works with Supabase out of the box — sign in once in your browser and its tools are in every session.

How it signs in

Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Supabase’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.

Try it

Once Supabase is connected, a first prompt to see it work:

Using Supabase, list the tables in my project and draft a query for last week's new sign-ups.

Adding it

  1. Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
  2. In the composer, open the + menu and find Supabase under Connectors or Plugins.
  3. Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions

Does OHarness work with Supabase?

Yes. Supabase ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.

How does the Supabase connector sign in?

Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Supabase's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.

What does the Supabase plugin install?

2 skills and 1 MCP server. It is installed from supabase-community/supabase-plugin at commit 2c6d02d, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.

Is OHarness affiliated with Supabase?

No. OHarness works with Supabase through its public MCP server; Supabase and its logo belong to Supabase.
