What you get
| MCP connector | Serverless Postgres: projects, branches, SQL and migrations. Remote, over streamable HTTP at https://mcp.neon.tech/mcp. |
| Plugin | 8 skills and 1 MCP server. MCP servers: neon. |

How it signs in
Through your browser, the first time a session uses it. The server answers with a sign-in challenge, OHarness discovers Neon’s authorization server and registers itself there on the spot, and the tokens land in ~/.oharness/auth.json, readable only by you. Nothing to paste, and nothing stored by us.
Try it
Once Neon is connected, a first prompt to see it work:
Using Neon, list the tables in my project and draft a query for last week's new sign-ups.
Adding it
- Download OHarness for the Mac, or install the CLI anywhere Node runs.
- In the composer, open the + menu and find Neon under Connectors or Plugins.
- Pick it and sign in when the browser opens. Its tools are available from the next turn.

Common questions
Does OHarness work with Neon?
Yes. Neon ships in OHarness as both an MCP connector and a plugin, so it is in the menu on first launch with nothing to look up.
How does the Neon connector sign in?
Through your browser. The first request is answered with a sign-in challenge, OHarness registers itself with Neon's authorization server on the spot, and the tokens are kept on your machine in auth.json, readable only by you. There is no key to paste.
What does the Neon plugin install?
8 skills and 1 MCP server. It is installed from neondatabase/agent-skills at commit 8272497, the exact version OHarness was checked against, rather than whatever is on a branch today.
Is OHarness affiliated with Neon?
No. OHarness works with Neon through its public MCP server; Neon and its logo belong to Neon.
